As personal trainers and exercise focused professional, you work everyday with clients who are aiming to improve their health, fitness and overall well-being. You may encounter many clients with poor posture, whether it’s a result of sitting behind a computer daily, or even genetics. It is critical to understand the foundation of posture misalignment and corrective actions. As an exercise professional, you want to be able to assist with your clients’ postural problems. With this courses, you will be equipped with extensive knowledge on posture and the effects it can have on the body. Exercise is one of the key elements to helping with poor posture. In this comprehensive 2-day course you will learn how to perform a postural evaluation accurately and thoroughly, identify common postural deviations, muscle imbalance patterns such as head forward posture and excessive anterior tilt of the pelvic. You will then learn the appropriate corrective exercises to promote postural strength. Students will also gain access to online Home Exercise Program (iBodyHEP) and demonstrate and apply their knowledge by designing their own exercise packages for specific cases.

Day 1: Postural Assessment Lateral View Posture Assessment
Forward Head Posture, Shoulder abnormalities, Kyphosis & Lordosis Abnormalities, Hip Tilt, Knee Flexion & Extension and Ankle Abnormalities
Anterior & Posterior View Posture Assessment
Head Tilt and Rotation, Shoulder Levelness, Scoliosis, Hip Tilt, Valgus & Varus Knee, Leg Length Discrepancy, Lower Limb Rotations, Patella Abnormalities and Foot Curve Abnormalities.
